The Badass Lady Boss Collective wanted a brand that really represented their following; young, highly driven, success minded women. The previous design left a lot to be desired of and no longer represented what some are calling a movement. The old brand used various shades of pink and displayed a multi-faceted 3D rendered diamond as an icon. With the new change the client really wanted something that spoke directly to females but wanted a hard edge to it.
The new brand juxtaposes an edgy feel with soft touches. Instead of using multiple shades of pink the new design focuses on one vibrant shade of pink. The word badass shouts edgy but this is balanced with a very classy font treatment. Lastly, the 3D rendered diamond has been replaced with a simple yet elegant diamond treatment. Now whether the brand is on a water bottle or crewneck, it is truly badass.
